Children’s Services

Enthusiastic and responsible volunteers supervise and support our various children’s programs and activities under the guidance of our Children’s Services Department.

Donation Room and Warehouse

The organization and maintenance of in-kind donations is an important part of our work. Responsibilities include sorting, organizing, tidying and tracking of donations.

Food Services

Volunteers help cook delicious and healthy meals for women and children, contribute to the maintenance and stocking of food service areas, and assist with cleaning and other tasks as needed.

Fundraising and Special Events

Confident, enthusiastic and out-going individuals will enjoy working directly with the resource development department; assisting with the preparation and execution of fundraising initiatives and special events.

Contributing to the maintenance of a clean and tidy home is essential for a healing, supportive and welcoming environment. General housekeeping duties and stocking of supplies are examples of tasks for volunteers.

Women’s Services

Volunteers assist counsellors in various ways during their shift. Tasks can include administrative tasks and assisting residents in many ways under the direction of a counsellor.
