Individual Volunteer Opportunities

If you are interested in applying for an ongoing volunteer placement, please email our HR Coordinator at rebecca@nyws.ca with some information about your skills, experience and what you're looking to gain from a voluntary placement.
If you are a professional interested in volunteering your time to deliver a workshop or service for our residents, or a public figure interested in supporting with fundraising and awareness building, please email our Development team at donations@nyws.ca with information about your service offering.
Fundraise for Us
North York Women’s Shelter is committed to working towards a world free of gender-based violence. We actively work to provide violence-against women’s services in the GTA and advocate for change in our community. But we can’t change things alone - we need your support.
We encourage you, our community members, to spread the word about gender-based violence and the services we offer, and help us in raising funds to help us fight gender-based violence.
