At North York Women’s Shelter, we aim to empower survivors as they navigate through a difficult and unexpected time. All families moving into shelter are provided with basic hygiene and clothing items, but the holiday season is a time where many families like to exchange gifts that go a little above and beyond. Donations made through this wish list item will provide  gifting items that help a woman to feel particularly cared for during the process of rebuilding her life after escaping gender-based violence.  

These items can include self-care items, makeup and skincare, mental health tools, reading books and personal empowering gifts.
