Our Centre

Re-imagining support, services and advocacy for survivors of violence.

Our new, secure, fully accessible 24,000 square foot complex consists of two distinct but linked buildings. This welcoming, evidence-based design is a first for anti-violence shelters in Canada.

The Anne Marie D'Amico
Community Collective

offers wrap around services to women within the North York community who have or are experiencing violence.

Emergency Shelter

Our 17-room shelter provides
women, their children and
even pets with a dignified
residential experience.

"When I arrived at North York Women's Shelter, I was at the lowest point in my life. I felt broken, worthless, scared, and alone, with nowhere else to turn. But from the moment I walked through your doors, I was enveloped in a sense of safety and compassion that I have not experienced before in many years. The kindness and understanding I instantly received provided me with the strength and courage to face each day with renewed hope. Thanks to your assistance, I was able to rebuild my life from the ground up."
